Providence Compliance ("we," "us," or "our") is a NASAA-approved continuing education provider for Investment Adviser Representatives (IARs). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our continuing education website and services (the "Services").

2.1 Information You Provide
- Personal & Professional: Name, date of birth, CRD number, email, phone, address, employer, firm affiliation, license numbers, jurisdictions of registration
- Account: Username, password, security questions
- Payment: Credit card details, billing address (processed securely by third-party processors)
- Course Activity: Enrollment, progress, completion status, quiz/exam responses, scores, certificates
- Communications: Support requests, survey responses
2.2 Automatic Collection
- Usage Data: Pages visited, time on site, navigation patterns
- Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers
- Cookies: Data from cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies (see Section 8)
2.3 Third-Party Sources
We may receive information from your employer, sponsoring firm, or regulatory authorities to verify credentials.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

- Provide Services: Create and manage accounts, deliver courses, track progress, issue certificates, process payments
- Regulatory Compliance: Verify credentials, report completions to NASAA and state regulators, maintain required records, share information with your employer as authorized
- Communications: Respond to inquiries, send course reminders, updates, administrative notifications, and renewal alerts
- Improvement: Analyze usage, develop content, evaluate course effectiveness, enhance user experience
- Legal & Security: Detect fraud, address security issues, enforce policies, comply with legal obligations, protect our rights
4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

- Regulatory Authorities: NASAA, state securities regulators, and other applicable regulatory bodies as required by law
- Employers/Sponsoring Firms: Course enrollment, completion status, certificates, and progress reports (with authorization or as contractually required)
- Service Providers: Payment processors, hosting providers, email services, customer support platforms, and analytics providers (with confidentiality obligations)
- Business Transfers: Information may be transferred in connection with mergers, acquisitions, or bankruptcy
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court orders, subpoenas, or to protect our rights and safety
- With Your Consent: Other third parties when you give explicit permission
5. DATA RETENTION
We retain your information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes in this Privacy Policy or as required by law.
- Course Records: Minimum five (5) years from course completion, or as required by NASAA, state regulators, or applicable law
- Account Information: During your active account period and for a reasonable period thereafter
- Inactive Accounts: Accounts inactive for more than three (3) years may be archived or deleted, subject to regulatory requirements
You may request deletion of your information (see Section 12), subject to our legal and regulatory retention obligations.

- State-Specific Rights: California residents have additional rights under CCPA, including the right to know what information we collect and the right to opt out of "sales" (we do not sell personal information). Other states may provide additional rights.
